Hi — I'm Noam, a 31-year-old indie developer, and I built this tool because I believe the best things on the internet should be free.

I got tired of YouTube downloader sites that are bloated with ads, riddled with dark patterns, and treat their users like products. So I built the one I wished existed: fast, clean, no tricks, no subscriptions — just paste a link and download your video. That's it.

Zero YTubeMate is and always will be completely free. No premium tiers. No "sign up to unlock 4K." No bait-and-switch. I fund this out of my own pocket because I think everyone deserves access to simple, well-made tools — whether you're a student saving a lecture, a creator archiving your work, or just someone who wants to watch a video on a plane.
